Enterprise-Grade Packet Processing
AetherDMX Pro was built to address frame tearing and synchronization jitter on stadium tour light show networks. Standard network switches often introduce micro-burst delay variances when dealing with tens of thousands of simultaneous DMX channel values. AetherDMX utilizes custom packet scheduling algorithm queues directly integrated with network interface card hardware filters.
Key Capabilities & System Architecture
- Dual-Network Redundancy (SMPTE 2022-7 standard): Transmit mirrored sACN stream paths over independent primary and secondary optical fiber loops with seamless hitless merge.
- Per-Channel Frame Interpolation: Smooths low-frequency console outputs from 25Hz up to native 44Hz fixture refreshing without introducing control lag.
- Real-time RDM Telemetry Discovery: Constantly monitors fixture voltage, LED temperatures, and driver error codes without corrupting active lighting universe streams.
Deployment Specs
AetherDMX Pro operates natively on custom Linux Kernel 6.x RT (Preempt-RT patchset) as well as dedicated 1U rackmount appliance hardware. Deployment takes under 3 minutes per rack node using zero-configuration mDNS routing discovery.
